Many people believe that
the moon, its phases and the signs of the zodiac all have an influence
on when you should plant crops and do other activities. This belief
is based on centuries of accumulated folklore passed down from
generation to generation.
In general, crops which produce their harvest above ground should be planted
during the waxing moon, or when the moon is between new and full. Crops
which produce their harvest in the ground should be planted during the waning
moon, or when it is between full and new.
However, it is also important note which sign of the zodiac the moon occupies.
Certain signs are considered much better for specific tasks than others. It
is always better to do the task on the first day the moon is in a favorable
sign, rather than the second or third day.
